A New Chapter Begins for Kindle: We’re Moving To A New Permanent Location!
We’re excited to share some big news with our local community! Starting in Fall 2024, Kindle will have a new, state of the art facility at 35 Journal Square Plaza.

Kindle Education Public Charter School is a new 6th-12th grade school opening in Jersey City in the fall of 2023. Our education program combines holistic personalization and deeper learning within an intentionally diverse school community.

At Kindle Education, we believe that a new model of school is required to meet the demands of the 21st century. Each morning starts in small groups where learners set personalized goals with the support of a caring adult and a team of peers. Throughout the day, youth collaborate to explore learning pathways and solve complex problems as they pursue their goals. Our curriculum emphasizes core academic disciplines as well as whole child development.
FORGE OUR FUTURE
Kindle Education's approach builds agency, creativity, and critical thinking by enabling students to delve deeply into experiential learning with real-world applications. Our students craft meaningful projects, make decisions about their own learning, and partner with the larger Jersey City community through changemaking initiatives designed and led by youth. By the time they graduate, learners in our intentionally diverse community have the purpose, individuality, and community necessary to successfully navigate the world and build a better future.
ANYWHERE, ANYTIME LEARNING WITH PERSONALIZED SUPPORT
All curriculum and student data is housed on Kindle Education’s online learning platform, giving students and families access anywhere, at any time. Classrooms are supported by full-time tutors who work alongside teachers to provide personalized support.
